Why is there a mismatch between some leads in regard to the countries my customer targeted and their nationality in SmartHub?

On Keystone listing, can only target campaigns by which country people are viewing the campaign and not by their citizenship (VPNs can affect this). We also ask students to provide their nationality and country of residence through our lead form.   

On the other hand, TikTok pulls the country information for the pre-fill information section on the form based on the information students provided when they registered for an account with the service.  

There can be a mismatch on a minority of leads because of these discrepancies. 

We do our best to provide institutions with the most accurate information and do provide country code filtering and email verification procedures before we send leads through to SmartHub from TikTok.
