How can I use SparkAds for my TikTok campaign?

Step-by-step instructions to launch your SparkAds campaign.

Before you can promote a post via Spark Ads, the creator of that post must allow ad authorization in their TikTok app.

Note: Depending on your TikTok version, you can access Ad settings by going to:
Me > Settings and privacy > Privacy
or
Me > Creator tools

To enable ad authorization (TikTok version 22.6 and above):

  1. Open the TikTok app and go to your profile (tap Me).

  2. Tap the three dots in the top-right corner.

  3. Navigate to Creator tools.

  4. Enable the Ad settings toggle.

Step 2: Authorize a Video for Promotional Use

To authorize a specific TikTok post:

  1. Choose the post you want to promote.

  2. Tap the three dots on the post, then tap Ad settings.

  3. Agree to the Advertising Content Terms of Service.

  4. Enable the Ad authorization toggle.

Generate a Video Code

Once authorized, you’ll need to generate and share a video code:

  1. In the post’s Ad settings, tap Generate Code.

  2. Select the desired authorization duration:

    • 7 days

    • 30 days

    • 60 days

    • 365 days

  3. Tap Copy Code and share it with Keystone.

TikTok Ads Only Mode (Optional)

If you want the post to only appear in TikTok ads (not in feeds, search results, or on your profile):

  1. Go to the post’s Ad settings.

  2. Enable the Only show in ads toggle.

Note: This feature is available in TikTok version 21.3 and above.
